SDAND's annual conference planning committee has been hard at work planning the 2020 fall conference. With all the unknowns in 2020 SDAND members voted in favor of adding a virtual option for attending the conference. At this time we have not yet canceled our in-person component, and are planning to have both an in-person event along with an online option. We know as a local organization, in-person networking is the best. However, we want to provide value to members in the safest way possible, which is why we have decided to proceed with a virtual track as well. This said, below are the planned topics for our one-day symposium. Ticket sales include session recordings for months after the event.
- Eating for Cancer Survivorship
- Overcoming Workplace Burnout as a Dietitian
- Micronutrients in Diabetes
- Sports Nutrition
- Adolescent Nutrition
- Nuances with Applying the Low FODMAP Diet (GI Symptoms, 3 phases of the LFD, criteria for selecting the best candidate for LFD)
- Diversity Panel: Barriers for Diversity in Dietetics
We will proceed with planning both the in-person and online options for the event if we have 40+ registrations (not including student/intern tickets) as this makes it financially feasible to conduct the conference. This one-day event will have 6-8 CEUS (virtual and/or in-person). The planning committee will determine over the next month if we need to cancel the in-person event contract and only proceed with the virtual option. We will refund payment and cancel the event for 2020 if we do not meet 40+ registrations for our ticket presale July 15-31.
The July 15-31 presale price is already discounted 20% for ALL ticket types, no coupon code is required.
Online access to the event will be provided to you registration email at a later date.
These ticket prices are deeply discounted from 2019 conference ticket prices.
